History Made: Swiss Raw Shatters World Record in Epic Pacific Ocean Row!
July 1, 2025 – They did it! Our partners, Swiss Raw, have not just conquered the Pacific Ocean; they've redefined human endurance. Yesterday, July 1st, at precisely 17:37 CEST, the Swiss team crossed the finish line of the World's Toughest Row, Pacific Challenge, in an astonishing 25 days, 2 hours, and 21 minutes!
This monumental achievement secures them an overwhelming victory and officially smashes the existing world record of 29 days, 17 hours, and 29 minutes (set in 2023) by an incredible 4 days, 15 hours, and 8 minutes!
Just 25 days ago, on June 6th, Swiss Raw embarked on this grueling journey with a clear goal: victory and, if possible, bringing the world record to Switzerland. From the comfort of our homes, we followed their every stroke, witnessing their relentless battle against towering waves, fierce winds, and the immense physical and mental challenges of the open ocean. Every minute was a testament to their unwavering determination against pain, exhaustion, and self-doubt.
Having covered over 2,800 miles, the team maintained a dominant lead throughout the race, finishing with an astonishing advantage of more then 530 nautical miles (almost 1000 km!) over their closest competitors. Their performance is truly a testament to meticulous preparation, unparalleled teamwork, and an unbreakable spirit.
